whole dense forest. So the place was called burnt land or Chuttanad which
locally came to be known as Kuttanad.

we must go. Pathiramanal means “sands of the night” in the local language. The island
view is so mesmerising and amazing that we never want to leave. The island is
full of most amazing ambience. Pathiramanal is located at a 40 minute drive
from Alappuzha. The wonderful views of golden sand beaches and an experience of
cool breeze is just mind blowing. Visiting this island certainly feels like a
